This communications aims to use the legacy of Solar Pavilion as a filter to get through the real needs of a weekend-house, focusing on its
domesticity as an architectural key to (re)think “the art of inhabitation”, concerning nowadays way of life.
Ana Luísa Rodrigues is assistant professor at EAUM – Minho University School of Architecture, where in 2009 she presented her doctoral thesis “A Habitabilidade do Espaço Doméstico. O cliente, o arquitecto, o habitante e a casa”. She is researcher at LAB2PT – Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory from Minho University.
